We import and distribute a range of wines from the Vina Ventisquero Estate in the Maipo Valley region, which is nestled between two mountain ranges, the Andes and the Coastal mountains.
The valley can be divided into three distinct areas, each offering something very different. All three enjoy a wine-maker’s ideal Mediterranean climate of hot, dry summers, and cool rainy winters. With ideal conditions for black grapes, the area is perhaps best known for its famed Cabernet-- though Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc also hail from the valley. Maipo is the country’s third largest producer of black grapes, although it is surprisingly versatile and produces some exceptional Chardonnay and many crisp Sauvignon Blancs as well.
